|2 years 9 months ||For ESM-SnowMIP, we have to initialize with saturated soils. This
does not work well, so we fix it to 95% for the initialization phase.

for limiting evaporation from soil. Hopefully this makes simulations
with canopy more stable.

too small, such that it will overflow the pore space or will have an
outflow larger than the available water. Should be a solution for
comment 4 of issue 606. Not well tested.

everything appear as GMT. This has been fixed. A few methods have
been tagged as either const or static.
