Jan 6, 2016
3 years 10 months Refreeze is now implemented in preferential flow domain by transferring theta_w from matrix domain to preferential flow domain if the corresponding layer is cold enough that refreeze can happen. Currently all water which can be frozen is transferred.

Commit 929, by Nander Wever
3 years 10 months An arbitrary/trail-and-error adjustment to wet snow settling when using Richards equation, as was introduced in the simulations for the Cryosphere paper, but so far was never committed.

Commit 923, by Nander Wever
3 years 10 months As for some applications it may become important which method is used to average hydraulic conductivity at layer interfaces when using Richards equation, it now can be specified via the key AVG_METHOD_HYDRAULIC_CONDUCTIVITY. Currently, it is recommen

Dec 21, 2015
3 years 10 months The various helper methods of Stability have been moved into a new file, StabilityAlgorithms.cc. This simplifies the Stability class as well as its declaration. The documentation has been updated and some includes have been re-organized (thus the cha

3 years 11 months Still more code re-organization (the static methods have been moved into the new StabilityAlgorithms class)
Commit 920, by Mathias Bavay
3 years 11 months More cleanup: lots of the helper methods could be marked as "static". The goal is to better show the difference between helper methods and the main thing.
Commit 919, by Mathias Bavay
3 years 11 months Code cleanup in Stability (some TODO and HACKS have been taken care of). Wrong field name in the gems.smet example data set.
Commit 918, by Mathias Bavay
Dec 10, 2015
3 years 11 months Merging stable commits 913, 914, 915, 916 (all about tests)
Commit 917, by Mathias Bavay
Dec 9, 2015
3 years 11 months Since the detected differences could be traced back to the wet layer merge and are safe (very minimal impact), the reference simulations are updated.
Commit 916, by Mathias Bavay
Dec 7, 2015
3 years 11 months Still trying to get more useful tests outputs
Commit 915, by Mathias Bavay
3 years 11 months Improving the tests: changing the order, more details in the outputs
Commit 914, by Mathias Bavay
3 years 11 months The basics tests script is now more flexible and used for more tests (ie on the virtual N and S slopes of the 5 expositions case)
